Five Nights at Freddy’s World, the new RPG from series developer Scott Cawthon is no more — at least on Steam. The game’s store page has been deactivated, and the game is no longer being offered for sale on the platform.
Buyers will be able to get refunds on the title no matter how much they’ve played, at Cawthon’s request. What’s more, he’s planning to further improve the game and release it for free in the future.
This news comes in the wake of apologies from Cawthon for the state of the game; he admitted that it lacked “features that any good RPG would have” on release.
