You can download drivers for your NVIDIA GeForce GT without having to install NVIDIA’s GeForce Experience app. Although NVIDIA does not make it easy to locate them, you can still do it. This is how you can avoid GeForce Experience for Windows.
It’s your choice
GeForce Experience is not being criticized. You can optimize your graphics settings and even record your gameplay. It can also automatically search for and update driver drivers. If you don’t use the GeForce Experience app, you will need to manually search for and install them.
GeForce Experience, however, is a more complex application and requires that you create an account. To receive driver updates, you will need to sign in with an email address. You can install your drivers in the traditional way, using the NVIDIA Control panel tool and drivers.
How to Download NVIDIA Drivers Without GeForce Experience
The drivers can be downloaded from NVIDIA’s website. You can either go to the GeForce Drivers page, use the manual driver search section, or the classic NVIDIA Driver download page.
No matter what page you choose, you will need to know the model number of your graphics card and whether or not you are using 32-bit or 64 bit Windows. You also need to know which driver you prefer. How to check if you are using 64-bit Windows
You can check whether your Windows version is 32-bit or 64 bit by going to Settings > System > More. The Settings window can be accessed via the Start menu, or by pressing Windows+i.
On this screen, look for the “Device specifications”. You’ll find the “System type” section to the right. This will tell you whether you are using a 64-bit or 32-bit operating systems.
Keep in mind that you will have to update them manually
It is now your responsibility to update your NVIDIA drivers. They will not automatically check for updates and download and install the latest versions of your GPU drivers. This feature requires NVIDIA GeForce Experience software.
How to uninstall GeForce Experience
You can also uninstall the NVIDIA GeForce Experience program if it is already installed. However, your drivers will still be installed.
Go to Control Panel > Uninstall Program. Search for “NVIDIA GeForce Experience” and then uninstall it. You can leave the other NVIDIA driver entries.
You can also use Windows Update
You can also get your drivers through Windows Update if you don’t want to play PC gamers. Windows will install drivers for your GPU automatically if you don’t install any software from NVIDIA. The drivers may not be up-to date for the latest PC games, and utilities such as the NVIDIA Control Panel won’t work.
Gaming gamers need the most current drivers, but average users can use the drivers available from Windows Update.
